Sherry Jordan

Constable Sherry Jordan has been a part of the Ottawa Police Service for over 25 years. To this day, she continues to show her dedication and involvement within the community - as her title states 'Community Police Officer for West Ottawa'. Constable Jordan has been actively involved in all the domains of the police service such as road duty, detective, and school youth intervention. She has been involved with Special Olympics for over 20 years by devoting her time as a volunteer - making and maintaining personal connections with the athletes, participating in the sporting events such as torch runs, and helping raise awareness and funding for for this amazing non-for-profit organization. 

She has been a hero and mentor to many individuals in her community, especially those Special Olympic athletes that have gotten the pleasure to meet her. Her passion in fitness, health and sports guided her to this volunteer position and she is a strong believer on the positive effects of exercise and physical activity on well-being.

Constable Jordan continues to go above and beyond for those in her community and is always ready to lend and give a helping hand when needed. She is most definitely someone you can rely on and count to be there cheering you on or even joining you on your adventure, whatever that may be. She provides an excellent support system and always pushes those to reach their greatest potential. She always encourages everyone to participate and lights up the room with her positive, kind and enthusiastic persona.

Constable Sherry Jordan's contributions to the community do not go unnoticed, and we are proud to have someone so amazing be a part of the Ottawa Police Services. Thank you for all that you do - you are our hero!
