Scott Moore

Hamilton Police Sergeant Scott Moore is not only an on duty difference maker, but a community role model. Scott has a kind soul and genuinely cares about those he works with and for, and most importantly, in this case, the community. Scott can be seen either taking the time to talk to children in the community, engaging them in conversation, but also adults as well...

... Outside of work is where Scott’s true passion lies: for over twenty years, Scott has been a Scout Leader in Brant County, spending time with, positively engaging and creating an excellent role model for countless youth. In addition, Scott deeply cares about the needs of Hamilton and the surrounding area. Using his passion for cycling, he organizes group rides to rise money for numerous charities in need across the greater Hamilton area. Between his involvement in Scouts and raising money for charities, Scott spends countless hours each month planning, organizing and participating in these events. He is a Community Role Model to those around him and is long overdue for the recognition he deserves: this award.
