I couldn’t be more proud than to tell you that Mark Patterson is my uncle. Proud for many reasons. Uncle Mark is a respected officer who is very serious and dedicated to his work yet can balance his family and other commitments.

He is always available for me when I need advice. He taught me coping skills to help me deal with bullying and anxiety.
Uncle Mark also knows to take time to look after himself. He loves to work out and says that it is healthy stress release. He is so smart.

My mom says she adores her brother as he is only a text away if she needs absolutely anything or just someone to joke with. She tells me that if I become just half the man that my Uncle Mark is she would be extremely proud of me.

My Uncle Mark is not just a hero at work but he is a hero in life!
