Cory Fernando is the Identification Officer for the Owen Sound Police. Her colleague, Jason Helm, is a Special Constable with Owen Sound Police, and has Cystic Fibrosis. He has gone into liver failure and has been placed on the transplant list. Cory took it upon herself to get tested and found out that she is compatible. A portion of Cory's liver will be removed and given to Jason. This will take place February 16, 2022. Cory has gone above and beyond by saving the life of a fellow co-worker. Giving part of her to someone else is amazing. Way to go, Cory!
