Brian made a huge impact in my life by understanding our situation between gay/lesbian domestic abuses. Took me aside and helped me understand that abuse is possible in same sex relationships and the situation I was in was just that.

I seen clearly after he left that night for the first time. He saved not just my life but my kids' lives as well. He is an amazing officer and thankful for him in my life so long ago. Never forgot his name. I'm sure his advocacy for gay rights in the police force helped him resolve many of these sorts of calls and I believe many should follow in his footsteps.
