I nominate officer Ryan Rodrigues from the Hamilton Police mounted unit. Officer Ryan has been riding Lincoln for 5 years now, and Ryan is just wonderful in the community. Each time officer Ryan is on duty, he will ride Lincoln up to St. Joe's hospital so patients can say hi... 

Sometimes Lincoln will will even stick his head through the front doors and the hospital patients get a smile out of it. At the end of the day, no one likes staying in the hospital, but having Officer Ryan take a few minutes out of his day to bring Lincoln up to visit the hospital patients and seeing the smiles on their faces is what it's all about. That right there is really good community work. I know there are a lot of front line officers that do deserve this award and I hope that Officer Ryan is one of them, because he sure does deserve it... and Lincoln deserves an award too, he is an awesome horse.
