Robbilyn Parker

I would like to nominate Officer Robbilyn Parker. A couple years ago, my daughter at age 15 was the victim of a sexual assault. Understandably our lives were torn apart. Officer Parker accompanied my daughter to the Peterborough hospital for the sexual assault kit and made her feel as comfortable as she could.

If it wasn't for her, I'm not sure my daughter would have made it through this whole thing. She also talked me down numerous times when my "mom" emotions would take over.

On a lighter note...this past winter I was getting ready to take my daughter to work at 7:00am when I got my car stuck at the end of the driveway. Officer Parker and her partner stopped and tried to push my car out. With no immediate success they actually drove my daughter to work so she wasn't late. It's these kind of officers that need to be recognized for going above and beyond their jobs. She is a great role model for our community.
