My police hero is Rebecca Elliott. PC Elliott is a School Safety Officer and works in several of the higher needs schools in the city. She often spends extra time at these schools and is welcomed by the staff and students. When not teaching, she visits classrooms and will eat lunch with the kids or go out in the school yard or gym and play sports with them. 

She has been involved in a project where the London Police will provide winter clothing to at risk youth right before Christmas. Her and fellow officers attended the school with Santa to drop off the clothing!

She has bridged a big gap in many communities and many children who feared police for whatever reason are happy when they see her! What a great role model! We are lucky to have her working with the youth in the city. Keep up the great work PC Elliott.
