Phil went into a house, knowing it was going to be blown up to attempt to save a woman. Phil got horribly burned, fought for his life in the hospital for several months. Phil still has a long road ahead of him and has a great attitude towards life and people. 

When I worked with Phil is was a brave officer who would always go through the door first to protect his partner.
After clearing the 10-plex Constable Rawn moved southbound down the avenue where he encounter a parked vehicle with flames shooting out of its gas tank. Constable Rawn acted quickly by taking a garden hose from a close residence and was able to extinguish the fire without harm to himself or any member of the public.
