Paul Stuart

It is with great pride and honour I get the opportunity to nominate Det. Cst. Paul Stuart for Hero of The Year Award. With 18 years of dedicated service and professionalism with Durham Regional Police, Det. Cst. Paul Stuart has made a lasting impression on his community and his service. 

From receiving the Medal of Bravery for his efforts in saving a life, to the small everyday interactions he has with the community members in Durham Region, Det. Cst. Paul Stuart takes part in countless community events - examples include the 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' to end domestic abuse, and attending Father Leo J. Austin Catholic Secondary School to educate students in the grade 11 law class. Det. Cst. Paul Stuart creates at cohesive and inclusive work environment for all of his fellow colleagues through his leadership skills, determined work ethic, and his love for his profession. I can't think of a more deserving individual to receive this award than Det. Cst. Paul Stuart.
