2018 Nominees

Kevin Willson

I nominate K9 Officer Kevin Willson as a police hero worthy of recognition for going above and beyond in his job every day. He and his canine partner, Jake, do public relations work regularly, go on calls when they are needed even on their days off, and pursue the bad guy with passion and seeming unending energy and drive. HPS is lucky to have both Officer Willson and his K9 partner Jake.

Elizabeth Skelding

Cst. Elizabeth Skelding is a hero in Waterloo Region for risking her life to save a woman during a domestic abuse call.
