Sgt. Newlove has been an officer with the York Regional Police for over 15 years. Throughout her career, she has been committed to engaging and giving back to the community. As well, as a Sergeant, she encourages and supports the officers on her platoon to find ways to give back.

Most recent, Sgt. Newlove and her platoon used their own money to purchase flowers for women across the city in celebration of International Women's Day. This is only one example of the amazing work Sgt. Newlove does in her community. Sgt. Newlove is also committed to the growth and development of her fellow officers by encouraging training and community partnerships.
