Justin Bowler is an officer that also volunteers his time with the scouting movement in Bowmanville, Ontario. His contributions, both in and out of uniform, to Durham Region and the youth therein are impeccable. He is always willing to assist groups in need and contribute his knowledge and skills, plus he volunteers hundreds of hours each year and makes a positive impact. 

Modeling and facilitating emergency preparedness, outdoor skills, bicycle safety, respect for others and conflict management is essential for the youth. Providing these skills while working with the team and his continued visibility in the community lends a hand to positive imaging of the Durham Region Police force and their members contributions to their local communities.
