This is very difficult for me to write, however, Officer Mills is definitely a hero to me personally and my family. On the evening of April 30, 2018, Officer Mills was the first to arrive to our aid. On that evening, my 16 year old son, who suffered from mental illness, decided to take his life. As mentioned, Officer Mills was the first to arrive, freed my son and immediately started CPR. 

Through his tireless efforts, Officer Mills managed to get my son's heart beating again. In all the chaos and panic, we never were able to thank him personally for his efforts that night or to the many other first responders present. So, to Officer Jordan Mills, from all areas of our families hearts, we thank you so very much!
