Joel is always ready with a helping hand. He is kind. He's always willing to go the extra mile. I admire and respect him. He is as fine a police officer as you can find anywhere. 

Joel has been instrumental in truck safety inspection. He is also an expert in child car seats, and has been instrumental in teaching other officers about it. He has run child car seat safety courses in many locations where people could bring in their vehicles and have him verify that the seats are installed correctly. He has assisted in motorcycle events like the Toy Run. He has volunteered to work many events. He works very hard, loves his job, and has worked his way through different ranks. His continuing keen interest, knowledge, learning, and actions make him a great officer.
