Jeremy Ashley (2)

Last year, during my first semester of college, I was sexually assaulted at a party. For a long time, I had no idea what I wanted to do, who to talk to, or what would happen with the rape kit I had done at the hospital. After some time, I finally let my parents know what happened and it began to feel real. My parents contacted Jeremy Ashley...

... to ask him for advice and what my next steps were. Jeremy was absolutely amazing to both my parents and I. Jeremy was able to set me up with a female detective in Cornwall where I go to school. He understood how scared I was and made the process as easy as he could. Jeremy went out of his way to set up a meeting, so I never had to set foot in a police station and tell multiple officers a story I could hardly tell myself, and he showed me that there was someone I could trust. Although Jeremy was not part of my case, nor does he live where I go to school, he went out of his way to get me the support I needed, along with explaining the legal process with my parents so I could be prepared for any choice I made. Jeremy Ashley was my hero when I needed him most.
