I'd like to say a special thank you and nominate Ian Jarvis for hero of the year award. He is my hero. He went above and beyond. He believed in me when I didn't think anyone would. 

I was scared to come forward and report what happened to me. When I was in the hospital recovering, as I slipped into a deep depression and had a nervous breakdown, Mr Jarvis would call the hospital and check in on me. He would keep me updated on everything that was going on. He even called me before court and was there throughout the court process. I was so scared but he reassured me I would be safe and nothing would happen to me. I appreciate him so much.
