I have been working with Debora (Bussie) for at least 5 years in the community through the organization where I work. Her passion for her community and dedication to her work is truly inspiring. She does not just "do her job" - she lives and breathes her job and that is very apparent every time you see her smiling face. 

Her intelligence, sense of humour and compassion make her someone that can be trusted and relied upon when in need. Our work together, especially on the Prevention of Elder Abuse Committee of York Region, has shown me her true strengths and dedication to the community. I would be very surprised if she has not won this award prior to 2019!
